Delete a participant

Erase a participant from the project. The participant's personal data (display name, email, user data and external user ID) is permanently scrubbed, and the participant stops appearing in any list or lookup -- subsequent requests for it return 404, and the external user ID becomes available again, so the same end user returns as a new participant.

Their activity is not deleted: message transcripts, session participation and gathering membership are retained in de-identified form, because they are also part of other participants' history. Sanctions are likewise retained and remain enforceable -- erasing a participant does not lift a ban. Use the sanction revoke endpoint for that.
